OK! that was getting a liittle close!!!

Other than absolutely freezing my butt off!! thanks to Victorian Weather!!! Filthy!!!

Last gassed up at Eden... "Ginger" was very thirtsy against a head wind.... lol!!! Pity it was wet and cold - would have been a nce ride threw the forests otherwise!!!

The fuel tank guage went from Full to just under a quarter - fuel light on (about 40 km to go) and then the speeedo said to "warning Low" fuel" (didn't see that in the manual - LOL!! , oh and it comes on at 18 km left before she dies of thirst!!!

I missed the turn to Orbust ( spelt something like that! lol) or some joint in the bush with a petrol station!!!

Just made it to Lakes Enterance... Was not looking forward to a long wet wait in the middle of a forest, if i ran out of gas!!! Well at least two things came out of it...

1) "Ginger " will do 254 km before she goes burp!! (interesting as when new she would only do abput 200 -220km - Goes to show the elctronic fuel injection system leans out after the run in period!! Go the Porche/ Harley Technology!!)

2) Should carry matches when travelling ... at least so i can start a fire to keep warm if it all goes to pear shaped!!!

Found a great Place to stay "Bellevue" - right on the main drag opposite the Wharfs. Food was sensational ... Had the Black Angus Fillet and veg... Was so hungry I forgot to take a photo... but it was devine.

Rooms were brilliant ( huge) and it was cheap... Have to go back there!!

Oh and the photo is the entrance to Lakes Entrance - Kinda ironic , i know.. It made me chuckle!!!
