Day 2 of my holidays.... officially!!!

In my hometown, yeah it ain't changed much in 40 years!! Lol!!

I still can find my way around without a map.

Sleepy sun lite country town... Gotta love the weather.

Had a look at my very fist school that i went to for all of 2 days with my cousins, Westend state school; It now closed and up for sale... Karma is a b****!!

Checked out the old family houses... Gee the grandparent's house I recall was huge (as a 4yr old), looks small and worn out now.

Good to see the old tamarind tree is still there towering over the house ... Must be 60 +yrs old, and the original worn out fence and driveway gate is also still there.... Lol! I thought it was 6 foot high... It's about knee high. Lol, perspective!!!

And the old paddock swamp across the road (in which we use to chase horses ... to manure grandma's gardens…. Oh! and to get wild flowers for the family galah called "Polly"- who would bite everyone but grandma is now a mass of apartments.

Wonder what happened to the swamp that use to be there during the wet season? Maybe it's now classed as a water feature for the apartments now!!
