Hmm... Been quiet on the fishing front...so far, have fished Cairns Townsville and Airlie Beach.

Somehow I managed to bust the tip off my trusty travel rod in Airlie Beach... I say "it was a smashing huge giant trevally!!" what it was... I have no idea, could have been a submerged speeding mack truck for all i know... Hit hard, bent rod and snap... then to rub salt in the wounds the b***** threw the lure ... Filthy!!!

Anyway, the Okuma graphite 3 piece rod has been repaired... As good as new, sorta!!!

Now to smash the NSW Coastal fishing spots!!! Where is the jewfish (giant groper) at?
