TRANSITION TIME - PART TWO OF SABBATICAL
Our family has had about 48 hours at home in Custer to unpack, wash clothes and repack the van before we are off to our next adventure. We caught up with a couple friends… of course, not as many as we would've liked.
The next three weeks will mostly be around the Pacific Northwest - especially in Spokane & Seattle, Washington as well as Eugene, Portland & Tillamook, Washington. We'll be taking in some of the Oregon Bach Festival, having a reunion with a group of friends from seminary and spending time with friends and family.
Many thanks to those who made comments on the blog. I've kept up reading all of the comments and messages and appreciate them all. Now that the first part of the sabbatical in Colombia is over, I know that some of you might not keep up as much with the blog. Please know that I also might not update the blog quite as regularly as I move into this part of my sabbatical that is a little more family and friend focused.
With that said, the picture attached to this blog entry is taken with the van completely packed just moments before we take off to the Pacific Northwest around noon on Thursday. On our way to Spokane, we'll spend a day in Yellowstone National Park.
Please keep us in your prayers for safe travel.

linde manlove safe travels and pls check out the Lutheran Church in Tillamook. It as such a great house of worship and marvelous folks we almost moved. At least do a drive by.
Casey Plante My wife and I just drove down the Oregon coast. Our favorite stop was the short sands beach in Oswald State Park. It's about a one mile hike through the park from 101. It's quiet, and surrounded by cliffs. Highly recommend it!
Linda Fennell Oh, I LOVE the Oregon coast. Wave at that beautiful ocean for me. Have fun and take time to relax and refresh. Linda
Dwight and Linda Vogel Linda and I have arrived and been to CLF. We eagerly await your return and have delighted in following your travels!!
