After a lovely drive in lighter traffic on a Saturday morning we arrived in Amiens by 11.15 am. We walked through the town, heading for the cathedral, also called Notre Dame. It actually has more floor space and is higher than the Paris one. We will be attending mass there tomorrow (Sunday) morning.

Across from the cathedral is this shop which has the Australian Flag out the front. There are things dotted around the town showing the connection to Australia, including ANZAC day advertisements and an 'Australian Bar'.
