It has been a while since i last logged on as China doesn't seem to like me accessing the sta travel blogs. Got into Hong Kong yesterday and am making full use of my 2 days here by sitting on a computer!

Since the last time i wrote on here we have been and seen the terrocotta warriors, the wonderful modern city of Shanghai and then after a 24 hour train ride we went to a backpacker town called yangshou which was very chilled out and relaxing after the hustle and bustle of the large cities that we had been in. I managed to get my hair cut for 2 pounds and it included a 20 minute head neck and shoulder massage!

After Yangshou we headed to a guesthouse in the middle of the country and took a cooking lesson which was really good fun. Mum and dad you better be prepared for some egg dumplings when i get home as they were damn tasty and very easy to make! The next few days were spent moving from guesthouse to guesthouse through the Longi Rice terraces, meaning we managed to get a view of the countryside and see what life in rural china is like.
