Day 1 - across the UK. With only one slight detour we rode across the UK from Liverpool to Hull to catch our overnight ferry to Zeebrugge. Before leaving the Isle of Man we had a couple of hours to fill in so we decided to watch the Trooping of the Colours on TV. This grand military parade is held annually in June to celebrate the Queen's birthday which is really in April - the weather is better in June! No one does pomp and ceremony better than The Brits!
