Bangkok - After getting up at the horrible hour of 3am (that was painful!) we got a taxi to Phuket Airport and flew out to Bangkok. This was the first time we had got on a plane in nearly two months, we'd been getting from A to B using minibuses and boats so it was strange getting on a plane again. So after an uneventful (and our final) boat ride, we're back in Phuket as we'll be flying from here to get to Bangkok. We're staying at a different hotel to last time, it's in a really good location, right near Bhangla Road and the big shopping centre which has lots of resturants. Well our journey here was a bit of a pain. No change there then. We've probably started every blog with some form of travel shenanigan comment. With this particular journey, it's not the length that's the 'bad' part, it's the waiting around we have to do when we're quite literally dumped on the side of the road somewhere on mainland Thailand. Climbing onto the boat going from Koh Phangan to Koh Tao was a difficult mission to say the least! It was a flimsy wooden plank with only one hand rail going up one side so Emma clung on with both hands, this meant she put pressure on her bag at the side and her bottle of water that was neatly tucked in the side of her bag popped out and landed in the sea.
