Climbing onto the boat going from Koh Phangan to Koh Tao was a difficult mission to say the least! It was a flimsy wooden plank with only one hand rail going up one side so Emma clung on with both hands, this meant she put pressure on her bag at the side and her bottle of water that was neatly tucked in the side of her bag popped out and landed in the sea. So we set out on our journey - and what a journey it was! We'd succesfully barted down the price of our bus and boat ticket from 1100 baht each to 700 baht each (just under £15) even though we weren't entirely sure we could have got it lower, we were pleased we managed to save some pennies (well actually it was Candy's world famous bartering skills that had done it so not really 'we') We were picked up at 7.30am in the morning from our hotel and were on the bus ...

We left Koh Lanta in yet another wagon, except this one didn't seem like it was on it's last legs and the driver wasn't a little old maniac of a man. We got dropped off at the pier to catch the boat to Phi Phi Don. Although it was a reasonably sized boat, we still had to climb across three other boats to reach our one, and with a backpack and rucksack it was yet another 'experience'. Emma, who's not keen on water or boats (great for Island hopping!) stayed down...
