We went on a day excursion to Lucca, a town outside of Florence. There we walked around the city. Josh, his roommates Evan and Pete, their friend Savana and I walked around Lucca. We found a fabulous pizzeria and gellato shop! After our snack, we rented bikes. Lucca is a medieval city with very narrow streets and is largely pedestrian. The medieval walls around the city are about three stories high and are several meters wide. On the top of the walls, there is now a park and a biking path. We took our bikes and circled around the city! I had the best time riding bikes in the sun!
