Day 1

We had 1 day to explore KL before heading off to Singapore early the next morning ! Today we set our alarms early to make the most of it! First task was to rediscover where Pasar Seni train station was . Surprisingly KL looked rather different in the day time , compared to when we first arrived late last night .

First we went and visited the Batu Caves , we climbed 272 steps to the top ! We saw lots of monkeys , and luckily avoided a monkey attack ! However we did see a few bags being snatched !
Then we headed to KL central and explored the city . We both had a delicious bowl of laksa soup for lunch , before heading to check out the science museum within the Petronas Towers - Petrosains ( which was recommended by a friend ). One of the highlights was the hurricane simulator ! Photos to follow !
As we made our way back to our hostel for a freshen up , we wandered into the Central Market and got lost in China Town.

Our evening comprised of yet more food , and we joined in with some locals for some renowned street food on Jalan Alor , which was in an area called Bukit Bingtang !

Now we are heading to bed , as we will be up in around 5 hours time to continue our travels in Singapore!
