So after a 6 hour flight to Brisbane and and another 4 hour flight, we finally arrived in Nadi Airport in Fiji. We were greeted by a traditional fijan song at the airport. We hadn't booked our accommodation for our Fiji adventure so that was our first priority after arriving at the airport. A lovely fijan woman called Anna helped us with our booking, and about 2 hours later we were on our way to our first night in a hostel on the mainland before heading to the mamanuca and Yasawas island group the next day. We stayed at bamboo beach hostel which was on the beach in Nadi. We had fish and chips for dinner and then chatted with the other back packers. It was a lively hostel and before bed we were treated to an amateur fire show.
