Hi all
Wow.... we are already 1/2 way our dereamtrip.
I do not even know where to start... we have seen so many beautiful things..
Since our last blog we have travelled through Cambodia and we are now in Vietnam, on the east coast.
We were impressed by the killing fields in Cambodia... incredible that such crualty has happened so recently... The coastal town, Sihanoukvill was paradise... relaxing, swimming, breakfast, lunch and dinner directly on the beach :)
Crossing the boarder is always an adventure... lots of forms to fill in and you have to walk across.. very funny.
One of my (Joelle's) goals for the South East Asia trip was to understand the differences between the different countries and I really start to understand how different the landscape, the people, the food and atitude is... mostly related to by which country they were colonisted & the religion.
The group is good fun and GAP is a great tour. Semi organised, so you are free to do what you want or you can join the group!
This afternoon we are going to some nice mud baths :) H&H we will think of our Byron Bay experience together...hihi
Tonight another overnight train trip. The last one (yesterday) was great. 1st class, comfi beds... much better than Thailand!!
I will again try to upload some pictures, but the connection is slow...
Hope you are all well.
Thinking of you!
Mama & Papa - gefeliciteerd met jullie verjaardagen. PROOST!

Heel veel plezier in Vietnam! XX
