Today we woke up feeling only slightly hungover as although we had tons of cocktails last night, they were pretty watered down. Gem and I managed to make it to the last 20 minutes of breakfast which was as bad as it was yesterday . Porridge ham soup, seriously?
After checking out we headed straight to the tailor Nuni and got ourselves measured up for our suits. I chose a two tone dress in navy blue and mink and then was persuaded into getting a suit made out of navy blue cashmere with burgundy silk lining. It cost £150 but at least it should fit really well and not be tight in all the wrong places.
When it came for me to pay, I realised that I had left my bank card back in the hotel which I needed for the suit. I said to the tailor that I would only be 15 minutes and would be straight back but instead she asked her assistant to drop me there on her motorbike. Before I even had a chance to say no, I found myself on the back of it, wearing an ill fitting helmet and clinging on for dear life. I definitely wasn't expecting the adrenaline rush when she accelerated off as my stomach dropped and we sped away, weaving in and out of the traffic. Charlotte has an immense photo of the fear on my face which is both hilarious and mortifying in equal measure.
After being measured up, we then returned to our new hotel Long Life and prepared ourselves for the beach. I thought we wouldn't have enough time as it was nearly half 2 but we ended up having a relaxing afternoon on the loungers and I read tons of my book which is really good.
We then went to an amazing seafood restaurant that was next to the beach that advertised 'live seafood'. It was only after eating our meal that we went out the front and found the tubs of squid, fish and crab! I had crispy prawns which were incredible and calamari, Charlotte had spring rolls and a snapper and Gemma had calamari and a snapper too - it came to £7 each and was one of the best meals we had! The waiters were so friendly and smiley and made the meal even nicer with their effort to please us :)
We are now back at the hotel having an early night in bed to read which is lovely. Tomorrow we are picking up our suits and then bussing to Nha Trang overnight to go to a water park the next day - excited
