Last Thursday we headed off to Turgutreis (almost impossible to pronounce I find, sort of rhymes with Pergatories but not quite). The was a sea captain called Turgut and Reis means captain. This town is on the Bodrum peninsular and about 3 hours cruising from Didim. It used to be a chain of tiny fishing villages but now they are pretty much all joined up.
