This is a side turn from the street with restaurants above and below ground. The street itself goes for a few kilometres and has an old tram that does two stops up and down We walked it to the Galata Tower. Really good quality shopping. All the Embassies are in this street including the Russian. Armed guards outside so I decided discretion was the better part of valour and took not a photo! Even though the capital is now Ankara the Embassies all remain here.
