We went through the Palace by day. Amazingly beautiful and extremely ornate. Built as a modern home away from the Topkapi Palace it actually only housed about 10 Sultans until it was annexed by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk after the First WW as his headquarters for the brand new Republic of Turkiye.
