So.... first post. i'll try to keep it vaguely interesting :)

It is Monday.I leave in the very early hours of Saturday.

I think that it is fair to say that it hasn't quite sunk in yet that I am going anywhere at all. Moving about the country and seeing my wonderful friends and family has all been marvellous, albeit a tad alcohol sodden.

I haven't packed.

Or even started to. i probably should otherwise it'll be friday night before i discover that i can't find my passport, my rucksack has a hole in it and that i've mislaid one of my very ugly merrell shoes.

i'll just have a cup of tea first.
