so arrived in laos at 3 oclock in the afternoon after a very uncomfortable MINI bus from chang mai. crossing the border took forever and was a nightmare! finally got here ad found a hostel to stay in. met 3 really nice australian girls, and within an hour of getting down to the river with themi was already drunk! every bar either side of the river gives you free shots and free bracelets! the at about 7 when its dark every ones gets a tuk tuk back to the hostel, gets ready again and goes to the bars in town where you get free buckets of drink! went tubing yesterday, so we bought tubes from the shop, like a rubber ring, then you sit in it, and go down the river, bars throw ropes to you so you can pul yourself in and get drinks dance for abit, then get in your tube down the river to the next bar! got in our tuk tuk yesterday and about 30 people tried to get in, there were people on the roof and hanging on to alll the sides, then little tuk tuk kept tipping up and down, kind of scary so we got out and ot a different on! came back had some food (they do really nice bagettes here) and went out to the bars again, where i acidently fell asleep in a hamok for an hour! about to go have breakfast and watch friends, they have it playing in EVER single resteraunt!
