We arrived in pushkar the most unbelivable smell, over 60,000 fish had just died in the lake and it stunk sooooo bad. The streets were nice but the smell spoilt it ever so slightly at night in the room we had to burn incence sticks because they were bringing all the dead fish up from the lake. Needless to say i dont have much to say about pushkar as it stunk so much i didnt do alot. In the morning the smell was alot better as most of the fish had gone there was just the odd one floating in the lake, but the people were back in the lake washing clothes and bathing like nothing had happened MADNESS. Apparently now the fish have gone it is fine to go back in the water and god will look after them, how crazy.
