After 6 days of early mornings and long coach journeys, I am finally in Darwin. The tour was great fun and I met a lot of great people through it. We start the 7km trek through Kings Canyon at 7.30am to avoid the heat.  Despite the fairly hard going trek the views from the top of the creek are pretty amazing and cooling off in the waters in the Garden of Eden in the centre of the creek ease the trek back.Following this I take a 10 minute helicopter flight over Kings Canyon which is not only a completely new and fantastic experience but really allows me to appreciate the sheer sizeof the creek. Jus...
