Went surfing!!! Really good fun although the wetsuits were good fun as they had been used by the group before us and were already nice and sandy ans wet so good fun to try and get on.

After all of the theory and the laying on the board on the sand we finally got in the water. Fantastic fun!!! Nearly everyone was standing up by the end of it.

I stood up quiet early on, wobbled came off, smacked my nose on the way down and was bleeding everywhere. I was reall lucky to not get two black eyes! No lasting damage but god did it hurt. It was a shame that that was it for me after that as couldnt really get back in.

Had lunch and then headed back to the bus and onto Byon Bay. Quiet a short journey as we did msot of the driving the previous day. Had a wander around Byron town which was really good. In an apartment which is really nice with our own kitchen and bathroom.

Had a night out at cheeky monkeys and I cooked dinner for everyone and managed not to poison anyone, always good.
