Really long day travelling. Left at8.00amm to head to Luang Prabang.Only 150km away but the roads are all through the mountains and I think we are only averaging about 25kméh.Stopped off to have lunch on the top of a hill that was OK but not brilliant.Saw a huge bush fire on one of the hillsides and loads of burnt out bits where there have obviously been others before.Eventually arrived at about 3pm and after checking in we went for a wander around the town.Got a bit lost and after an hour and a half of trying to find an internet cafe without any sucess we gave up and came home.Ended up using Mattès laptop at the restaurant, the wonders of wifi! Had a chicken sandwich which was huge! Came home and wrote up a lot more of my diary to put online when I getg another chance.Had a look at Kimberleyès photots of Cambodia and Vietnam! Early night.
