We are back from Egypt, we gave our baby clothes to the orphanage in Luxor so it was good to read about your work. It makes you realise how much we have. Marmite will be put in the post asap! Lots of love to you.

This is a surprise isn't it Em!! I am sitting with the boys tonight, but it sounds as though they might come through the ceiling! They send their love as Tony and I do. Tony has gone to see his niece tonight. Dad rang me last night, lovely to hear all your news, just before I went out to a dance ... not quite up to our August outing.
Must go now, with all my love, hugs and kisses, Granny xxxxxxxxxxx

Emma, you really are having the time of your life. So happy that you are loving it and not hating it. My highlight of the week now is Saturdays when I log on to read all about your adventures and to catch up with your photos. All your info is top notch. Lily and Harvey were so excited to get a letter from you. They will write back soon. They love looking your photos, they didn't believe me when I showed them your bathroom, toilet and kitchen! Can't wait for next week. We all love you lots and lots

Hi Em - glad you got such a good catch up in Kampala over the weekend. I've been reading its seriously illegal to be gay in Uganda. Be careful holding hands or kissing girlfriends in public, especially in Kampala! Oh - and don't be sleeping with any men - Ugandan or British! Love you - Jelly and Becks
