Em's African Adventure
We were up and packed for a 7:30 breakfast this morning and on the road by 8:30am heading for Fish River Canyon.
We saw our first African ani8mals while driving today - a troop of Baboons and a herd of Springbok on our drive.
We arrived at our camp in Hobas about 1pm so had some time to do some washing and relaxing after pitching our tent (we have it down to a fine art now).
Hobas is an old farm which was deserted after they found that nothing could survive there so as you can imagine it was pretty barren.
Late afternoon we took a drive to Fish River Canyon, which is the second biggest canyon in the world, we walked a couple of km's along the canyon edge before heading to the main lookout and watching the sunset.
