Mendoza!
We REALLY wanted to go south to Patagonia after seeing Bariloche, but since the weather foreacast was so bad we decided to go north and see Mendoza instead. Our first bus broke down, then our second bus broke down before the third bus finally managed to get us there :) In Mendoza we signed up for a day trip to the mountain area on the boarder of Chile and we had a fantastic day! We traveled in a mini van with 14 other people and our guide showed us a lot of cool places like the lookout for Aconcagua, the Inca bridge, the ski resort Penitentes and the highlight of the trip- the Monumental Cristo Redentor at 4200 meters above sealevel (see photos). The road to get up to the statue was crazy, I´m glad we survided it!
We also wanted to go on one of the wine trips in Mendoza, but the girls we shared a room with said it was very boring and you hardly got any wine, so we skipped it al together. Spent the last day just walking around in the city and writing blogs and organizing photos at an internet cafe instead! Heading back to Buenos Aires for some days now before going to Uruguay to spend some quality time on the beach :)
