When I last wrote we had taken the early bus to Sucre for Sean´s birthday, adn we had a fantastic time celebrating, relaxing, eating yummy food and having a few drinks!
We are now going to relax in Sucre - I am trying to convince sean to take the 'dino truck' to see the world's largest collection of dinosaur footprints, but I think he is more interested in catching up on Latin American football! Its a lovely place to wander in the sun, all the usual great artisanea and local handicraft shops, a lovely park and some great bars for cocktails, so time to relax before moving onto La Paz. On Sunday, a charity are running an event that we are going to, for the working chidlren of sucre. Here children work at such a young age, whether shining shoes, selling tickets for buses, or simply begging - and the event will raise money so that they can have clothes and shoes to attend the 'big event' next weekend. It is one of the major religious festivals in Bolivia and this way they can do their traditional dances and have a fun day out - should be very interesting.
