Miyajima fireworks. Someone's keeping their spot safe.

Oyster festival! Soooo many different ways to eat oysters and very cheap! Curry, smoked, fried, steamed, grilled, dumplings. Nom nom nom

Went on a day trip today to Miyajima island. It's just off the coast of Hiroshima, accessible by ferry. It was a very cool little town with delicious food stalls and amazing views. The famous floating gate is there (one of the top views in Japan) as well as the very friendly deer that roam around. Fun!
