We got up at 8 today. Well Ray did, I were allowed to sleep to 9 am since I took a shower before I went to bed yesterday. We ate breakfast and drove so fast as we could away from the camp site mud hole. We got mud everywhere in the car when we came to the camp site yesterday, because of all the rain. We refueled before we went on with the drive up The Great Ocean Road to Melbourne.
A trip that would only take three hours ended up taking almost six hours. There was so much to see along the way so we spent much time on seeing things. We stopped and watched the Twelve Apostles and took some pictures. Along the road we drove at had so much nice things to look at, so we drove slower than usual so we had time to let everything sink in. There were many cute little towns along the road. At this trip today, I have seen the finest, coolest, hottest and most beautiful houses I've ever seen, and all that in jusst one street! We stopped in one of the small towns, shopped some food and ate lunch, burgers and hot dogs, before we continued on to Melbourne.
We found a campsite about 20 minutes outside the city where we are going to be 3 nights. We are not completely satisfied with this place because it is more or less a trailer park where many people live in their caravans. We felt like outsiders and Ray felt poor. But this is part of the experience it too. The rest of the day went to aa update the blog with pictures. I spent almost 8 hours. Is so tired that I am about to crash. We are going to meet a friend of ours, Anna, whom we met in Alice Springs while we are here. it will be nice.
