Today was a sightseeing day. Yesterday we booked tickets to see the 9/11 memorial, so after we picked them up, we walked to the entrance, went through security, then walked around a construction site to the actual memorial. It was a beautiful place but sad, especially after we had a look around and got to see a short film about the affect 9/11 had on survivors and families of victims. Today's been a really lazy and relaxing day. Took a sleep in, ate some breakfast and planned our time here In NY. Carro went for a run in Central Park while Emelie and Krista did some grocery shopping since they have a bit of a cold. After that we pretty much just hung in our room and watched tv and kept ourselves updated with our people back home.

After getting up early again , we got to see the falls in daylight which was pretty amazing. The rest of the day was spent on the bus and waiting while the others did stuff we weren't really interested in doing. We didn't get back to New York until 9pm. Got the subway to our new temporary home then went out for dinner. We were so hungry!

Since we were so late last time when we got the bus to D.C we didn't wanted that to happen again, so this time we were reaaaally early ( even one hour early). Krista had drank more then just water at dinner last night so she wasn't the happiest person alive, but as true friends we helped her with her bag and stuff. Back in the big apple again, but just for one night this time to! We said goodbye and thanked Pia's family around 9 am and set forth towards D.C so we could catch our bus to NY. We were really early so we just sat on McDonalds on wifi haha. The bus trip was fine, arrived around five and since the bus stopped at another street we discovered it was not so far from our hotel so we could walk home.
