Today we left the snowbird area ( snowbirds are old people who emigrate to the warm south during their cold winter back home) and traveled to a cowboy camp called Betty and Rusty's, named after the owners. It was really cool to travel in to desert landscape filled with giants cactuses, like the ones you see in old western movies.
When we arrived we had a quick look around before dinner. Some people of the group went on a horse ride among the cactuses but we decided to conquer a giant hill, and from the top we had the most amazing view over the valley and a lake at the end. Just sat there and talked about life.
In the evening Betty made the most amazing BBQ we have ever ate. The meat was just perfect and everything else you got with it. To round the evening off we sat by a fire and ate smores, grilled marshmallows with chocolate and crackers.
