hello everyone!!! Well got very home sick before we got on the night train, had to wait around at some dodgy old station for ages which made me begin to think!!! Over night train was sooooooo funny, bex you gota do one!!! Its like loads off seats in a long carriage that then turn into bunk beds on either side of the hall and look like a dormitory, there each have curtains on them!!! we all ad a great time, was all in a carriage together so once we started our journey we wandered down to the so called disco carriage to hace a boogie!!! Oh my god it was such a laugh, the minute we all carshed in, everyone started staring at us, it was filled with locals and was just a shabby tiny room with seats, some proper dodge music and two tiny disco balls!!! All had a beer and was constantly harrased to have more by some wierd train worker that looked off his nut on drugs(got a brill pic of him!) We soon learnt tht we could connect our ipods up to d dj box after some swedish peeps were playing crap music on it!! We soon told them where to go so we could play ours!!!!! I was fun, then got kicked out at bloody 11pm,werent impreseed where we got told off cos we were alll running up and down the halls by some scary looking security guards!!! Eventually settled, i had top bunk but was so excited i just couldnt stop laughing!!! It Was very wobbly and loud!! Arrived in chaing mai in the morning where they are apparently having all of the fires, havent sin any though and the air is much cleaner than where weve just come from! Had a boring day just looking at more bloddy temples, ive really had a gutful of them now!!! Have neva done as much exercise in my whole entire life as ive bin doing, weve have walked up so many steps, hills and mountains!!! Again, wasnt enjoying it much and got very home sick, am finding it quite hard at times but ud be surprised, me and liv havent even rowed yet!!! Yesterday was a wicked day!!! Had a stay in nice hotel last night and tonight and went elephant trekking! It was absolutley brilliant i almost cryed!!! We got put on the biggest one and guess what he was also the most lasiest and greediest!!! We sat in a lil baskety thing on his back and the man sat on his head!!!! Every two mins he would refuse to walk and only move after he had stretched his truck over his head into our faces and fed bout 20 bananas!!!! Very nearly fell off several times!!!! There was a baby there aswell, got to feed him!!! On way back, our eleflump basically ran when he saw more food and water and decided to have a nice leasiurely drink that soon turned into liv and i getting absolutl;ey drenched after he filled his trunk up with water and spraying us contiually!!!! We then went bamboo rafting, it was brilliant!!!! It was meant to be nice and relaxing but oh no!!!! We had a really naughty man sailing us down the river who kept trying to sink us and throw us into the water!! We also crashed into huge rocks several times, one oif which when he was being cocky, sent himself flying off the raft aswell! very nearly wet myself hehehe!!!! Holy and sarah were behind us, they are the two most girliest girls who scream at everything - worse than me!!! Turned around to find her screaming in fits as a huge toad thing had jumped onto her raft! haha!!! Saw a water snake and also got a great chance to see an elephant having a bath in the river it was so cute!!! Then saw guess what, another temple and came back to our hotel. Went to famous night market here, had 30 m foot leg hand and arm massage for about 90pence!!! It was lovely but we all had the fits of giggles once again!!! Got some wicked bargains, a well nice dkny watch, etc! Had to buy another ruck sack for trekking oh dear!!! Went to a locals house so they could talk to us about the trekking in the hill tribe4s and pre warn us!!! Am absolutl paniking now, so scared cos of the things they said, i am absolutley dreading it, cant wait til we go down the south now!!! Today we were given a free day, we went to apool on the roof, it was lovely!!!Had it to ourselves. Went to a big zoo this arvo and took our first tuk tuk!!!! Really good zoo, saw loads of stuff but were too terrified to go past the lions bit as it wasnt shut away properly and kept roaring!! At one point we could only hear it and not see it, were the only obnes around, legged it up the road and actually contemplated on climbing up a tree just incase!!!!!! God we are wimps!!!! Anyway we are going up to chaing rai tomorrow to the home stay in the eve and then starting our 3 day trek, am petrified!!!! Were not back for 6 days from now as we will have alot of travelling back to do and there wont be any phones or emails so will speak to you all next wen we get back!!!!I really wouldnt mind if this bit iof the trip got cancelled!!! Hope everything at homes ok with you all, where are all my emails and messages?????!!!!!!!!!!!!
