Its boxing day in Rio de Janeiro and there are a few hangovers around!! Xmas day was lovely despite the pouring rain and a stomach upset for me!! We had a lovely swim in the sea after strawberry champagne for breakfast and went back to the hostel where Vikki cooked up a lovely xmas dinner of roast chicken vegetables and pigs in blankets which turned out to be chicken in blankets!! The dinner made my stomach feel much better!! We had a lovely parcel at the hostel from Jenny (RSA) with xmas cards and decorations so we put up paperchains and got well into the spirit!! Thanks so much Jenny!!! Vikki and Tim also got us some lovely xmas stockings to open!! Today it is cloudy again but Murray and I are off to the beach anyway and maybe go shopping again!!
