Today we went to a tiger kingdom about 30 minutes away from where we are stay, chauffeur driven by moi and map reading by jord (dads not so good at it) The tiger kingdom doesn't drug or chain up the animals which makes it feel less touristy, you are put in a cage with the size that you pick, we chose small and big tigers. Firstly we went in the enclosure with 4 small tigers all running around and fighting, we got to stroke and have our pictures taken and it was all very scary at first but after a while I relaxed a little, it's still a bit surreal being in a cage with 4 tigers running around and not a dart gun in sight, they just use a wooden stick and tap them on the nose if the get too out of control, a bit scary!! Next up was the big tigers and they really we're huge, there was 6 of them in the enclose which was pretty daunting but we all went in, although dad was deffinatly nervous at this point, don't think I'd heard a word out of him in about 20 minutes!! We got to cuddle them and have loads of photos, they are suprisingly soft to say they are so big. Afterwards we had a drink and ice cream and watched them play with the tigers jumping around in the water, I still can't believe now we we're so close! Another thing ticked off my bucket list. Afterwards then we headed into Patong and went to hooters for some cocktails and beers which jord and dad enjoyed before heading for some tea and then the drive back home! I got dad some stress boobs from there incase he ever goes back to Bangkok- wow he was wound up there!
