Another exciting day in Bangkok we went to the city zoo which is next to a main road, weird! They had loads of animals which you could touch and feed including girraffes and hippos! Also we rented a pedalo and went around the lake in the park which was filled with some kind of swimming lizards; which was a bit scary at times! After the zoo we then headed onto asiatique: another market/shopping place with lots of nice resteraunts and a big Ferris wheel! We took tuk tuk and boats down the river to get there! It was a really nice place,a lot more calmer and relaxed than the Bangkok centres! Although It was hard to find- 25 miles from our hotel but we made it all they way for 100baht; around £2! We had tea at an Irish pub as it sold cider for Jordan, finally some English food, yum tuna and jacket potatoe! Then we headed home! We are moving from the pod down to kao San road for a night before we head to koh samui on Tuesday.
