My overall impression of Dubai was that you could have a great time on a reasonable amount of money not however on a budget of a scuffy backpacker, I found the city to be vastly spread out with all the main attractions all a taxi ride between each other, In no circumstances could you be attempt to walk the heat was far too intense even for a keen walker like myself 5 minutes of walking was enough. All the bars / discos are incorporated inside the hotels so you don't really need to venture outside to much in my hotel for instance there was a restaurant and four nightclubs (African / Russian / Indian and Arab) The main attractions are the 6 star Hotel on the beach front, the shopping mall which includes a indoor ski centre, Camel Riding and 4 by 4 jeep driving on the sand dunes.

Rating out of ten = 5 out of ten, too much construction going on !! How do they work outside in the heat its so very very hot, Transport needed for all places of interest, not a backpacker destination you need money and at least 3 days
