Today we went to the Trevi fountain! It's was amazing how many people came to throw coins in. Apparently, every week they donate all the coins in the fountain to local charities, which I think it's really nice of them. I, of course, made a wish in the fountain. I can't tell you what it is but don't worry it's a good one!

When in Rome we went to go see the Pope. It was right outside his house/work place inside the Vatican. When we got there I was amazed. It seemed like there was millions of people. It was nearly impossible to get through the crowds of the eager Italians.

Today we went to see the Colosseum. We went with our pilgrimage group and toured around for about 3 hours. Our tour guide took us in and out of the building. She also took us to the top of a large hill right beside it so we could get a better look. I think it's so cool how ancient Romans were so advanced. The artitictecture was so advanced and well thought out it seems like a job someone today would even struggle with.

So, apparently latte's are a big thing here. I don't really like the taste of coffee but they come with almost ever meal. I leaned that if you dump a bunch of sugar packets In the coffee it tends to taste much better. Scientifically, I don't see how coffee has much affect on people. Whenever I drink it I feel the same as I always do, but when someone like my dad drinks it they are jumping off the walls.

The seats in this plane were unbelievable. First of all the seats were 3-4-3 and it was extremely spacious. Also, they was not only one, but 2, floors on the plane. The plane costs over 100,000,000 dollars so I was extra aware not to mess anything up. There were about 300 people on that plane! Talk about major car pooling.
