Hue:
Our overnight journey from Hanoi to Hue was luxury compared to what we had previously experienced. We all had our own reclining chairs which were like beds, apart from Ellie falling flat on her back and being hit by the bus men when she tried to go to the toilet, the journey was ok. There were no pigs although there was a box of birds under the bus which pooed on Jenna's bag.
We arrived at our hostel in Hue on Wednesday 10th which was the same as the one in Hanoi. We looked around for some street food but couldn't find any so had an amazing caesar salad at a restaurant instead. We realised there was absolutely nothing to do in this town so sunbathed on some grass for a bit. Then we went back to the room and got ready and went downstairs to the bar where we met Coops, Jenna, Owen and Ross. We had all got ready for 7pm as Ellie said there was a quiz on then, but then we found out it was the night before which was very annoying. We started drinking anyway. Lisa entered a competition to down beer but Coops won and won us girls a bucket. After some more drinks we headed to Brown Eyes bar which was really good. It was full of Vietnamese people who were dancing to songs like grease lightening and loving life. We were loving it to. Ellie and Jenna ate some weird fruit things. Coops disappeared for a while trying to find food on the back of a motorbike but was unsuccessful. When we left we walked in circles, finally found some street food and went back to the hostel. There was a man outside with an amazing bike with seats on the front. Ellie Jenna and Coops were riding it up and down the street loving it. Then the Vietnamese people started fighting in the street, police came with battens, everyone was jumping on motorbikes and chasing each other and it was all kicking off. We ditched the bike and went to bed and left them to it.
The next day we woke up, had breakfast and went to find a pharmacy for Lisa's eyes. The women gave her loads of stuff and was far more helpful than the hospital for 100th of the price and she now had 12 tablets to take a day, yay. We then waited for our next bus to Hoi An.
