Hello there everyone!  Well can't remember if i have mentioned that i am back in Sydney, been back about 2 weeks now actually.  Had a great time in New Zealand, think the last time i wrote i was in Rotorura, which was nice didn't really do much there.  Next stop was Aukland where i met up with Cheryl and Wes which was great, so good to see them.  They took us to there lovely house in Orewa and i got to meet dougie and george again, they are so cute!!.  I stayed with Cheryl and Wes for nearly two weeks and bless them if they wanted to get rid of me they didn't make it too obvious!, well Wes may have given the odd hint!!. 

Their house is gorgeous (i'll put some photos on soon) and i had my own room with an ensuite bathroom and everything, complete luxury compared to living in 8 bed dorms with bunk beds, it was fantastic! and the view from their balcony were lovely and i had a very relaxing time.  I even got dropped off by Wes in a Place called Pai hai in the Bay of Island, North NZ to spend a few days on my own sightseeing which was really lovely, felt a bit odd but got used to it and met some nice people so all was good.  Wes picked me up after a few days and so i was back in comfort of my own bedroom soon enough!.  All good experience for when i venture off on my own again.

Cheryl and Wes also managed to drag me mountain biking, which was erm interesting to say the least.  Most of it was downhill and most of it very bloody scarey!.  Sure i wore the brakes out completly on the bike Wes hired for me!  but it was good fun, don't think it will be a new hobby of mine but i'm glad i gave it a go.

Anyway left New Zealand and got on a plane on my own for the very first time, very bizarre and got chatting to the guy sitting next to me, as you do.  and it turns out would you believe it that he was from Maidstone and he lived on London road, by the garage!!! and used to work in Waitrose!.  What a small world hey flying NZ to Oz and get seated next to a guy who used to live down the road from you!!  maddness!

Anyway i am off to Brisbane tomorrow, on my lonesome!  Bit scared but hey ho it has to be done, throw myself a bit further in and see how i go!  I'll let you know how i get on!
