Well hello again everybody!!!

So i am now in Cairns, been here 2 days and its a lot smaller than i thought it would be! And its very hot and very humid, we have done this all completly the wrong way round and come up here during the wet season but hey ho!! Its lovely though so just need to find a job to keep me going until i am back in Sydney for new year (i am so excited about that its untrue!!!) Not too bothered where i am for Xmas as its hard to get in the Christmas spirit anyway when its so bloody hot! The xmas decorations just look so out of place, especially the snow flake ones which i just find ridiculous! Hope you all getting into the xmas spirit back home anyway for me.

So we made our way up to Cairns via a mini road trip along the east coast, didn't get to do too much as on a tight budget and schedule but at least it was something. Went to a Koala park where got to hug one, they are so adorable, Australia Zoo (home of the late Steve 'crikey' Irwin. Then stopped at Noosa, Hervey Bay (would liked to go over to fraser from here but just not possible with my bank balance, b*****!), Rockhampton (bit of boring town, famous for its beef, loads of fake cows everywhere!), Seaforth (tiny little place by the sea, had a campsite and sand that was it, not even a pub!!!!! nice though), Townsville (nice town), then went over to Magnetic Island and stayed there for 2 nights, which was a gorgeous place i lurved it here and would luv to have stayed longer. From here a stop in Innisfail so i could take some photos of the place my dad stayed in about 40 years ago (i will put them on the website soon dad) and lunch and then to Cairns. So a mini road trip, have a look on the map though it is a long way!! Australia is just far too big.

So now i am in luxury of a hostel again after camping for the past week so all is good. Anyway best go i will be updating my photos soon hopefully thats if your interested (you better be!) So hope you all all well and enjoying the build up to Xmas the shopping, the weather, the work lunches and nights out! its all good fun i bet!
