Hello everyone, well this is are first blog entry.

we arrived in bangkok yesterday, it was a bit overcast but really really hot, we didnt do much yesterday just had a look around koh san road where are hotel is (viengtai), there was a really big thunder storm last night, so the whether isnt to good here but its really really hot just not sunny at least it hasnt rained today. Are hotel is lovely, definitly reccommend it to anyone coming to this area.

Today we got up early and had breakfast and went in a tuk tuk to do some sightseeing, first we went to the golden buddah, which is huge and then went and saw some small temples around it, I let go of some good luck birds over the golden buddah, so hopefully ill win the lottery when we get back :) . We then went and saw the lucky Buddah, which apparently is older than bangkok itsellf. the tuk tuk man then took us to about three different shops which tried to sell us stuff lol,so kevin had to try on suits lol, and with that left our bag in the shop so we then had to ask the tuk tuk man to take us back lol.

After that we went on a long tail boat ride along the river, which was good, had people in boats trying to sell us stuff on the way and people sending buckets iof bread to the boat so we'd buy it lol. the boat then dropped us off at the grang palace and emerald buddah so we had a look round there, it was so pretty, me an kev had to put on extra clothes before we went in so we didnt offend anyone, we took loads of pics so you can see them lol.

We then went and had lunch and booked our bus for chang mai tomorrow night and we also booked a tour to the floating market tommorow morning, which should be good. Tonight were going to go to the bars around koh san which we briefly looked at last night, there was a good irish bar we had a drink in called shamrock, so think were going to go back there.

Well were off to chang mai tommorow night so will probably do another blog entry when we get back from our trek or in our hotel before we go. hope your all well missing you loads, keep in touch lots of love elise and kevin xxxx
