Hello,

Well we spent the last couple of days in Kuala Lumpur it was really good, a lot different to Thailand.

So from where we left off, we spent our last day in Phucket on the beach jumping in the waves again and had an early night as i wasnt feeling very well and we had our flight to catch to Kuala Lumpur the next day. We got our transfer to the airport the next morning and the flight was only an hour and ten minutes so not very long, we then had to get a bus to the metro station and go to Bintang the main backpacking area, we hadnt booked anywere to stay so wasnt sure were to go but lukily we met two girls on our bus from the airport who had booked a place in a hostel, so we followed them to see what it was like and ended up staying there for two nights. So our fist experience in a hostel was pretty good nice and clean room and shared toilets.

We arrived at the hostel around 6 so on our first night decided to go to china town which was really good, lots of cheap stuff and only 5 minutes away on the bus, we bought a couple of presents and other stuff which we will be sending home soon. We then went for dinner at the ship, it was the best steak ever, really nice and got back about 11/12 to our room and went straight to sleep as had planned a busy day for the next day.

So yesterday we got up about 67 and had breakfast before getting the metro and a taxi to the lake gardens, which were really pretty, the park is so huge and good to take a walk around. We then planned to go to the petrona twin towers, so got a taxi there and then found out that you cant go up them on mondays lol so we were a bit annoyed but decided instead to walk to the KL tower, but didnt go up it just looked about.

We then walked to little india, which is a bit like china town, lots of cheap things and good to take a look around. We then carried on our walk to the Jamek mosqe, which is just across the road but we werent aloud in until 2 30 as we didnt have the right clothes on and it was 12 30 so gave it a miss and walked around to the Dataran Medeka, which is a big flag along with some tudor houses.

We then walked on quite away to the national mosque, and ended up back at the gardens, where we had one more walk around before getting a taxi back to our hostel around 3. So we had a very long day of walking around seeing the sights, it was really good to walk it as there was a lot to look at and it was a nice day out.

Last night me and kev wnt for dinner at the outback steak house, which was lovely and then we walked back to the petrona towers, which took about 10 minutes from bintang to see them all lit up and take some pictures they were really pretty. I then started getting ill again with cystitus so had to get a taxi back and sat in McD whilst trying to sort out a bus to Singapore for the next day and a place to stay.

Once we had the info we went back to the hostel, meanwhile my cystitus was feeling better, however for some reason my tooth started playing up and the earlyish night me and kev planned so we could get to the towers in the morning went out of the window as we were up all night and ended up at a clinic at 3 in the morning to get some pain killers and an injection.

So today after 3 hours sleep me and kev got up and got a taxi to the towers with our luggage, we got there at 8 and the que was massive, i was even more ill today so i sat with our bags whilst kev qued for are free tickets, we managed to get a slot time for 1:15 so in the meantime went to the dentist, which gave us more tablets, and sat around, i was sick most of the day. Finally 1 o clock came and we went up the towers the veiw was amazing, took lots of pics. We then went straight to Puduraya bus station and just managed to get our tickets for the 3 o clock bus 2 singapore. We met a really nice lady on the bus, which bought me and kev some food at the stop off and gave me a quilt which she let me keep, she also got me some medicine for my sickness as well and was really helpful.

So were are now finally in Singapore and found the ABC backpackers hostel finally as knowone seemed to know where it was lol. We are staying in a 4 bed dorm tonight as there are no more double rooms bur are having a double room for tommorow and the next night so that will b better, the hostel is really nice and clean and has free wifi and breakfast so thats good. Im going to upload our pics now and get some sleep as im so tired. Beckys pictures looked lovely she looked realky nice and molly looked lovely. Hope molly ada good time on her birthday at marwell. Becky must be off on her honeymoon soon, hope she has a lovely time, miss everyone so much love you xxxxxxxxxx
