I'm back home in Wales now, and still reeling from Africa! The flight home was horrific, all the pushy, annoying people from around the world seemed to be gathered to Dar es Salaam airport and I don't understand why :( Shout out to the small child who thought it would be fun to kick the back of my chair on the plane for 7 HOURS. I was told a saying while I was in the bush, which sums my situation up perfectly: I wasn't born in Africa, but Africa was born in me. There's something about this place that makes me not want to leave! Of course there's always bad things, and there's quite a few in this part of Africa, but everything and everybody kinda makes up for that. I'm here in the bush camps! It took us about 10 hours to get here- 200 kilometres on actual road which took us just over 2 hours to drive, and then another 200 kilometres on awful African roads which took us nearly 8 hours, the bumps and crazy amount of stuff drove me to insanity.
