Yeeah, we got a hammock :D
So! Been here just over a week now- spent a lot of time surfing, kite surfing and swimming, I'm also working my way through a stack of books, which is amazing because last time I was working my way through past papers and revision guides! And on the subject of exams, I've started having weird dreams about results day already... not good when I'm trying to relax here! Trying not to get myself crazy worked up about it, keep dreaming about it though!
On an unrelated note, I'm 18 tomorrow!! Terrifying, but I'm actually not excited or anything about it. I think because nothing will actually change out here, and I got my present (the camera) a couple of weeks ago so I don't have anything to do really, we're going out for lunch and that's my crazy 18th birthday!
Any time I get Internet (once a week maybe) I'm trying to plan things for the rest of my gap year- I think I've got it all sorted I just need to book everything when I get home! The internet here is awful, I'm having to type this on my phone while in my dad's school, it's taken me about half an hour to get this far because the kids keep coming and annoying me! They are lovely though.
I'm crazy excited for Saturday, we're all going out to the Niassa reserve to spend a week at the bush camps- I'm so excited to see all the animals and everything! I think I'll make that an 18th birthday week and make it more special, there's nothing really to do in Pemba other than go out for a meal with my family or go surfing (neither of which are bad ideas).
I'm going to have to give in to the kids wanting to play, so I'll leave this post here and will hopefully get Internet soon to post some more pictures and stories, finding it hard to put together a decent post on my phone! Will keep you all updated!
(Damn it I haven't got any cheesy quotes on my phone...)
