Well the sun did come out yesterday so we decided that we would hang around for a couple of days. Spent yesterday by the lagoon at Airlie Beach. Was all that we had been waiting for - sun, sea and the pub!!! Watched some of the cricket - get in England anbd drank some more VB's!!! Well if only the beach did look like that!!! We have now escaped from Mission Beach - four wet days are too much, and have travelled down to Airlie Beach near the Whitsundays. You'll all be pleased to know that Tropical Cyclone Nelson did not manage to get us. Still wet here though so if there aint any improvement we'll have to head south again to try to find the sun, beach and all things good.
