Eeyore on Tour
After a long drive and a slight detour where we virtually ended up where we started after an hour and a half drive we finally locate the Drogarati Cave!
It's in the middle of nowhere as expected. Just the usual Greek Gift Shop selling everything Greek and a free Swimming Pool. Tempting as it's soooo hot but we head over to the Cave entrance. A Whopping €5 entrance fee!!! Unbelievable!! If we were in England this would be at least £11.
We go down the steep steps into the Cave and find a refreshingly cool cave full of Stalactites and Stalagmites no idea which is which but after a quick Wiki Stalactites come from the ceiling and Stalagmites up from the floor.
It's only a small cave but it definitely has plenty of Wow factor. A big ledge surrounded be rocks creates a lookout over the rest of the cave which is atmospherically lit up all around creating shadows.
We all seem pretty impressed
