Sorry it's taken so long to get connected, list of excuses as long as my arm but nothing that would stand up in court. Impressed with the web site especially one of the first views I saw in Vietnam, looks strait out of a Bond movie scene. Sounds like you're having to rough it a bit in Mindy but I'm sure it will take you on some great mystery tours.
We're off to see Di this weekend, picking Edith up on the way as well, looking forward to the company and a break from the job. Can't quite manage 4 months break but we are stretching are Wales Hols to 3 weeks this year.
Will try not to leave it so long before we connect, Have a great time - Be careful out there

Dear Mr Bowman, after looking at this website i have now decided you are the coolest teacher in the history (ha see what i did there?) of the universe.
hope your having fun. We're managing fine without you, but you are greatly missed!

Hannah, Ash, Vik!
Hey Sir, Mr Griffiths gave us your website so we could catch up with your travels and I must say I like the way your beard is getting along. All your pictures are beautiful and we especcially love the Vietnam not Sahara one. You look like your having fun and thats good. Ms Cross has been teaching us good and we'll still all get A's, but we do still miss you as who else could be the star of our comic book? Hope your doing good and having a great time but dont forget to come back cos we need you for next year (can we do more medieval?).
See You in September.
Hannah, Ash and Vik!

Seem to remember it's easier to drive to Huga falls, and then take a quiet stroll - you two must make everything so difficult! Great photos, well done! Even a new camera has not daunted you! Maurice did try to teach Ruth about gears....unsuccessfully it seems! Don't even mention rain! It never stops here! Just got back from Rudston, drove through thick fog! You must be really sorry to miss the Eurovision Song Contest - no challenge to find something else to do on a Saturday night! Apparently people have "Eurovision parties" now, to try to pass the evening away! Oh well, soon be world cup .....then Wimbledon...Puppies are livening up, Keith & I will soon have taught them to climb on settees, but it's hard when two other people interfere by telling us all off!! Give our love to Gail & Baz (it's his birthday on Friday 28th May, by the way.. you might be there then?) Family weekend here next weekend - Su & Col & mum. Hope to hear from you,xxx
Rich
Hi there you two, I thought I'd better send a message before you get back! I bet you are really pleased that you are getting almost daily messages from Abbo, I suppose whilst he's using his interweb time chatting to you he's not sending us all useless crap Scottish jokes! Ay, ya wee bobby, every cloud ...
It's inspiring to see you have not disappointed with the photos mate, I was particularly impressed with the one in Vietnam, where on your 'tour of duty' you managed to convince Ruth to play the**** role for a few hours of Full Metal Bowman. I've been a busy boy too pal, with exam time coming up, I had one moron in the speaking exam last week ask me if he would lose marks if he spoke English. Ay Caramba, Give me strength!
I have also been biking with Ewan in Wales. The training went very well, I'm sure even the pros eat a curry and polish off 10 pints before a big race. It's a shame that I can't post photos, but I will try to do justice with the description: Picture the scene, Ewan and I in one piece Lycra biking suits. I looked like Geoff Capes and Wah looked like an anorexic Shirley Crabtree (Easy! Easy! Easy!). It was a sight to make even the most hardened hombre wince. Sam and I have got a big race coming up in Ben Nevis, and one with the thin footed Pole, Matt and Sam in July which should be cool.
As for you guys, when do you head to South America? I thought I would send a few helpful phrases: ¡No gracias, no soy gay! No thanks I'm not made that way (just in case you meet someone with a leather cap), ¿Quieres jugar a la guerra? = Do you want to play war? (If you want to throw a few pineapples around) and Te toca a ti invitar = it's your round ('cos I know you and money like to stay together!)
Take care both and enjoy the rest of the trip finding yourselves! Love Rich xxx p.s. Aileen sends her love too.

Hello you two adventurers !! You are causing mother a great deal of concern with all these wacky things you are taking part in but good to see all the super photos and your latest postcard. We are also pleased to see that the weather is improving so you can put the playing cards away for now. Ben has just won a signed Leicester City shirt in a competition and is prepared to sell it to his uncle for a very good price. We have just returned from Leeds after a two night stay spent mainly in heavy rain but we did manage to do some gardening and cut the grass in between the showers. Our most adventurous pursuit was a walk round Waterloo Lake in Roundhay Park !! Missing you loads and looking forward to catching up again very soon. Lots of love from Mum and Dad xxxxxxxxx

Howdee campers! Well brief update from my adventures. Mic and I have arrived home safely following a very entertaining all inclusive week in Tunisia. Shall we say that the locally fermented lethal fig spirit helped get things on their way, as did the surprise arrival of the Italian national 5 a side football team, resplendant in speedos - oh they leave nothing to the imagination. Anyway, we've also become great pool hustlers, grappled with hairy germans - actually only men - in water polo, acquired bronzage and possibly acquired a couple of husbands each! I'm currently conversing solely in French (cos they speak that over there too!) with a lovely chap whose name I can't pronounce, has a nice bum and who understands little english - makes for fascinating conversations as my french consists of the orals we had to do for GCSE I accidentally told him I was 15 but then quickly followed this up with more lies of i like to play tennis and at weekends I go ice skating. Talking of ice skating we never did get to the rink, looked pretty busy though. Oh more good news, I got onto GP rotation, obviously my hugs were satisfactory, start in Aug - not as flush as Alex - but am def thinking of quiting Rheumatology a month early to have a bit of "me" time - prob another holiday. Anyway, will keep you updated with the courtship....and my French xxx

Thank goodness all family, friends, students, hangers on keep me entertained - your mesages are getting fewer! Great to hear your voices on Sunday - all readers please note, they haven't lost their voices in the rain! Hope Baz can sort out the technology for you when you have respite with them. Had a great evening with Auzzie cousins, Sheila & Mum last night. Trying to work out a way to get over there! Sun managed to break through for a few minutes today, so there is some hope of a bit more summer. New puppies keeping Rob & Helen quiet. Lancaster seem very well, and will be up here at bank holiday (27 to 29th). Bye for now.
