Hi You Two!
Sounds like you're still having an amazing time. Can't wait to hear more about Chile..it looks amazing. Anyway, we're off on our trip tomorrow (fly on Fri). It's really wierd to think that you'll be back again byt the time we get back (I think!) We land on the 28th August. It's flown by really but I bet not half as much as it has for you. Not sure how much e-amil access we'll have so if not enjoy the rest of your trip and we'll have a mamoth session when you get back. All those photos..mmm...heaven!(That's Mike) and we need to celebrate Old Man Bowman's 30th. Travel Safely. Lots of Love Fi and Mikexx

hi! thought you'd like to know that Monet's garden is just as good, and I now have even more photos of flowers & lillies! new camera doing well! weather a bit poor, heavy showers, but we have no need for all the layers you tried in bolivia! hope last stage of your epic tour is stunning, xx from sheila & me.

Hi Ed and Ruby
Glad to see you are following the trail safely down in Latin America. Good postcards chaps, Im not sure however that you should allow Ed anywhere near a underwear shop, like the shumper disaster, the yank and German may well come out wearing a pair of all in one Long Johns.
All is well here. Sam and I completed the knarlfest in Fort William, successfully making a mole hill out of a mountain. We went over from Glasgee in the morning refreshed and ready for the challenge. I think we were both a bit nervous as we had done it last year and knew that 40 mile in the saddle up the mountain was always going to be tough. Youll be pleased to know that team Pineapple did some ass whooping and managed to beat the pussies from the armed forces. Then again they did do it in a tank. Well that was in June and we had another race a couple of weeks ago, this time we included Ewok the Pole and Matt into the Pineapple ranks and it was a great laugh. We were lapping about 45 minute laps, apart from Wahs last lap which was a stunningly impressive 1h39 mins. Now you can blame the weather conditions or the thin feet but really I think he only really came because he wanted to have a bike ride and a BBQ! Im not sure he quite grasped what he signed up for.
Anyway, apart from the Lycra action, I recently went to the Alps with the school, which was a welcome break from the DVD challenge at the end of term (i.e. is the film long enough to last all week etc) and I am away with the school again to Barcelona in two weeks for a watersports trip (though not the kind your thinking of!) and a long weekend in St.Ives to see my sister next weekend which should be a welcome break from all the daytime telly and loafing Im doing. Ah yes, tis that time of year Ninja, where the job really does come into its own. Only 5 weeks left however!
And yes, many thanks for the birthday wishes, I think Im right in saying that someone else hit that milestone as well. What crazy stuff did you get up to by way of celebration? We'll party when you return! Anyhow my lovelies, I shall leave you there, take good care and enjoy the rest of the journey. All my love Rich

Greetings to you both.We have just read your latest postcard from Bolivia and have printed it off to show Grandma & Grandad. What adventures you are continuing to have !! Are you looking forward to coming home or not in 4 weeks time? We are really looking forward to seeing you and hearing all about it.Temps have cooled off a little here thank goodness. We are having another of our adventures this week by going to Norfolk for 2 days - how exciting is that? We had Roger & Tina here last night for a BBQ which went down well and are off out tonight with Ruth & Steve for a picnic in the park at Lamport with a jazz band to entertain. We have a busy August coming up with our hols in Wales and one or two other trips planned in between turning up for work on the odd day in between. Do take care and we are thinking about you all the time. Lots of love, as always, from Mum & Dad xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Good Morning to you both!
"Happy Birthday to you, Happy birthday to you, Happy Birthday Edward Beaumont, Happy Birthday to you!" Just imagine my lovely Boro tones singing that to you Ed. Hope you had a a fab day not to forget.
Where have all the messages gone? was enjoying reading everyone elses entries and keeping up to date with everyone. I've had a mad week. Been offered a partnership at my last training practice but now don't know if I can be bothered with all the stress and also we had found a gorgeous new house in North Rigton and if I moved practices It would be too far to travel. Oh well....nice to have options. I;ve been really enjoying reading about all of your adventures. It just sounds amazing. Only 10 days now until we fly. I'm getting really excited/nervous now!! when are you two back? Mike's getting excited about the photo slide show already!
Anyway, keep writing it's getting me through the drollnes of work.
Lots of love

We hope you had a lovely birthday Ed, what a wonderful way to spend your 30th. We have just returned fom a great week at Rodley, visited mother Shiptons cave, Harlow Carr and marks and spencers (twice!), the boys had a great time and were spoilt rotton by their grandma who found the week rather exhausting I think. Enjoy the next few weeks and look after yourselves. lots of love Vic, Bernie, Ben and Max xxxxxxxxx

Happy Birthday Ed, have a brilliant one. Your web site makes thrilling viewing.
Diane and I are off on our wonderful adventure on tuesday, SO looking forward to it - can't do a web site though, we probably need some help from you to set it up, and you are not here. Never mind, can't imagine what sad folk would click on it, not quite so action packed like yours ! (I don't think ) (?? !!!!)
Got your Robbie tickets now - hope there are enough to go round, someone must have another 4 ????
Take Care
See you on 28th Aug (sorry, )

Just because you are hiding thousands of miles away doesn't mean we will forget you are another year older! Have a lovely birthday, expect you will be pretending you are just a young 18-year old! Hope Ruth treats you superbly well, and the day is all you would have dreamed of, Diane xxx
