Royal Air Maroc airline left a bit to be desired but it was OK even though it left very late. We met a lovely couple from Vienna and shared a taxi to the same hotel. Being Morocco, we still got charged the same as it is based on per person which we should have known. Our second hotel in Greece turned out to be in an interesting choice; in a seedy part of town (close to the metro though). It was always a slightly faster walk at night when we were approaching the hotel, due to the heroin injecting on the side of the streets which you pretended wasn't happening. Athens does have its darker side. The Greeks sure love their perfume / aftershave and wear heavy doses of it, even the pre-pubescents which is a mixed blessing at times...

It was a rush to catch our connecting flight from Athens to Santorini and every single airport has different rules. Just when you think you have the process sussed they change it. The ferry was a glorified version of the interislander but with cabins. Our cabin was pretty good complete with bathroom and bunk beds that were relatively comfortable, but I guess we are so used to sleeping just about anywhere, beds don't tend to bother us to much anymore except when you get an exceptionally comfortable or uncomfortable one. What a change from Asia. It was very weird being on a European flight and not seeing any Asians. The Germans are so efficient and very serious.
