Woke up at 7am this morning to very very windy conditions, and having not got to sleep till 1am last night I didn't fancy the surf, had breakfast and slept through till lunch. Apparently I didn't miss out on all that much, and it's good to have a day out the water to let all the cuts have a chance to heal. Been putting antiseptic cream on quite a big graze on my ankle, apparently you have to watch for infection, especially after a lot of rain when the creek washe...

There isn't much going on day by day around here at the moment. One of my 2 room mates has gone, so it's just Dave (surname 'Nuttal') and I in here now, which is Awsome. Everywhere else people are moaning about it being busy and sleep being difficult, but Dave and I have it really easy.I was sat having a beer with him yesterday and it turns out back home he was a dental technician specialising in Implants and Implant retained dentures... Small world. Anyway it ...

Nothing very interesting to report from yesterday daytime, surfed twice but neither were that great. Although we did have pudding at dinner time! It's sad but it's such a luxury here. It was a pretty big party night last night which was a good laugh. I got involved with the 'games' for the first time - Limbo. I came in the top 5 and considering the quantity of goon I had drunk, I consider that a heck of an achievement! Woke up without a hangover, which was idea...

Yesterday I did 2 sessions at Mullawarra which was ok, the lesson and straight after lunch. Second was a bit crap though, bit fat and lumpy.First theory lesson was really good - we did video analysis of our morning session. There were lot of videos of me which was really useful. It's funny, you don't surf even half as well as you thought you did and look pretty funny too.. Learnt a lot though about leading with your front arm for turning and keeping low squatte...

We all had fitness training yesterday afternoon which was pretty good. Just circuit training like sit ups, press ups and shuttles etc. Didnt really tire me out all that much so went for a surf despite it only being 1ft at low tide and then went running. After dinner we did a Quiz which was actually really fun, our team came 3rd of 6 so did ok. It was a 6am wake up this morning for a 7am surf at Malawarra (probably spelt wrong). First time I have surfed over there...
